Nanette Domingos
After a major life change in the 1980s, Nannette felt drawn to bodywork. She studied massage and Amma Therapy (a Chinese meridian massage) at the New School for Wholistic Health, Education, and research in Long Island, New York. Nannette became a licensed massage therapist. Massage and the powerful Amma Therapy became her arena of expression and expertise. In 1995 she took the First of the Upledger Institute courses on Cranio Sacral Therapy. A whole new wonderful possibility of healing touch opened up for Nannette. Continuing the CST courses, and the awakening awareness of the power of intentional light touch shifted the focus of her work to Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST). This technique allows Nannette to go deeper into the body with energy that she can move with the strength of her hands. In a very subtle and professional way, CST affects the structural components of the body. It is as if the light touch connection to the fluid sets off a self-correcting mechanism, within the body that allows it to come more into balance. The body becomes more harmonious within itself.
